The Company

raro plastics gmbh is a modern company based in Berlin, Germany, built upon more than 100 years of development and experience. Our predecessor company, founded in 1899 under the name of A.Ransmayer & A.Rodrian – “Raro” for short, initially manufactured steel type for typewriters.

Looking ahead to future technical developments, in 1980 the decision was made to make plastic print wheels for electronic typewriters.

During the specialization in plastics injection molding, in the year 2000, A.Ransmayer & A.Rodrian became raro plastics gmbh.

In the manufacture of steel typewriter type and plastic print wheels, we have acquired comprehensive know-how in precision injection molding. In our ISO-Class 8 clean rooms we are able to manufacture and assemble medical products.
